Root canal treatment: what’s involved?

Once we’ve carried out a thorough examination, we can clear out the infected matter from the tooth in question, and fill the canals within the tooth. This will prevent the tooth from becoming infected again, and once it’s covered with a filling or a crown, your tooth will have been salvaged, and your peace of mind restored. Before any treatment takes place, we will talk you through the procedure in detail and put together a tailored plan of action to help you reduce the likelihood of needing this type of restorative treatment in the future. If your case is particularly complex, then we may refer you directly to an endodontist.
